Before 1953, Trans Texas Airways operated exclusively in Texas, serving Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Brownsville, and El Paso. However, few of these flights were non-stop. TTA also served smaller towns along the way, including Nacogdoches, Tyler, McCamey, and Beeville. The map below shows the general route structure in 1952 when TTA was flying DC-3s.
